first, i want to thank president obama, house speaker john vader, house minority leader nancy pelosi, a former top adviser larry summers, and most of all, former president bill clinton for highlighting this topic in the last couple of weeks. they have made this conference even more timely than it already was. i am confused about why president clinton's comments about our topic just a few days ago were so wrong, or why they were proved so controversial. the way i heard what he said, he was not questioning whether we should raise income taxes on the rich, but when. it seems reasonable to me. there is a lot of debate on taxing the rich that confuses me. for example, who is rich? is it a family that makes more than $250,000? or only those that make at least $1 million per year as nancy pelosi had suggested? there seems to be some confusing among the democrats. and if you are rich, does that mean you should never again face an increase in taxes again, ever. that seems to be confusion among the republicans. how important are the rich when it comes to investment and job creation? you might t
